This design and branding project for this Ayrshire based client was an absolute belter to get involved in. Brand a new learning centre for kids with additional support needs, but don’t make it patronising or cheap looking. I loved working on this design and branding project.
From time-to-time a design project comes along that you think, yeh I really really want to get involved in this one.
Marianne, the CEO of Ayrshire Children’s Services asked me to help her with the branding of her new learning centre about to launch in Ayrshire. A first for the area and what a project it turned out to be.
I met with Marianne to discuss the requirement for the project and it turned out that she needed everything, and I do mean everything.
From generating the name of the learning centre and writing a small strategy document for marketing to designing the full brand identity for the centre to work across signage, marketing collateral and corporate materials so that she could apply for funding etc to help her run the centre.
Marianne is just one of those clients that just hooks you in with her passion and drive for her ideas and her business.
The project involved working with some of the young people on colours and ideas for how they wanted it to be and taking some of these suggestions and turning it into a professional visual identity that had its values and ethos allowing the play centre appeal to many different types of people in the Ayrshire area.
